In-game Axiom verge makes a distinction between Weapons, Powerups, and Upgrades. Playstation Trophies will refer to Upgrades as "Tools" and "Abilities". The following is a list of all Upgrades that can be collected throughout the game.

Axiom Verge 2

In Axiom Verge 2, the variety of upgrades is significantly less, though there is a lot more backstory and lore regarding the most prevalent type of upgrade: Arms. They are used to give Indra special abilities during her missions. They are made of dust-like nanomachines, stored in urns and assigned to a specific Wielder. Breaking these urns will assign them to Indra, letting her use their abilities. Before the events of the game, several Arms were abandoned and hidden away, so they are littered all over Kiengir. There are also various other items throughout the world, ranging from technological to traditional human craft.

Upgrades:
	Compass	A lapis lazuli pendant that is lit up on one side, as if pointing like a compass.
	Diviner's Gem	Chalcedony gemstone that fits perfectly within the compass.
	Nano Lattice 1	Outer nanites form dynamic lattice, reducing damage by 15%
	Nano Lattice 2	Strengthens nanite bonds, reducing damage by 15%
	Nano Lattice 3	Increasing nanite density reduces damage by 15%
	Eye Ring	Allows you to see in the dark without the use of a flashlight.
	Carnelian Ring	Charge attacks cause the Bronze Axe to fire a projectile.
	Royal Ring	Royal Dagger fires projectiles when you are at full health.
	Ensi's Bracelet	Press down and attack with the Double Axe to perform a downward slam.
Items:
	Flashlight	A wearable flashlight.
	Gud An-Na	You explode with a shockwave that shakes the earth.
	Ki'Inimak	Allows you to see into the Breach and enter hidden Breach portals.
	Halam	Allows you to exit the Breach at any point.
	Breach Attractor	Pulls breach portals towards you.
	An Gishru	Remote Controlled Gishru
	Power Matrix	Allows you to store and use healing energy from Power Cells dropped by enemies.
