I have to agree about the Xedur page. To me, the writing sounds like a clone detailing his experiences as he transforms into the monster Xedur.
"It calls itself Xedur. I don't know how I know this, but I do." - He is aware of another sentience in his own mind.
"The worst is touch, a tingling, writhing, itching mass." - He is describing the painful physical transformation (a scientist would be interested enough to write this down)
"There won't be anything to save when it's done." - He is predicting that Xedur will fully take over his consciousness. This might be the first Variant experiment.
